Jackie’s personal experience with her own parents sparked her passion to help clients put a plan in place that protects their families from the emotional, physical and financial devastation that extended care can cause. Jackie collaborates with families to create a well-designed comprehensive quality of life plan. Jackie guides her clients through what decisions must be made well before care is needed; planning includes where and by whom will care be provided, what services are available within the community and how much the services will cost. Jackie then counsels regarding the most efficient manner of funding the plan.

Kevin E. Baldwin, CLU, ChFC, CAP has over 40 years of experience in the financial services marketplace. He has successfully built both a career general agency for Penn Mutual, where he recruited and trained over 100 Financial Professionals and a brokerage distribution channel for Aetna and Lincoln Financial Group that grew over tenfold within seven years.

More recently, Kevin finished a three-year assignment with MassMutual overseeing their Field Training and Development department that resulted in increased recruiting, productivity and retention of new agents. He established the National Life Academies and created the Regional Rising Leaders Prospecting agent training schools that increased the productivity and retention of over 4,000 agents.

Kevin is a certified state CE and PACE CE instructor and currently moderates LUTC courses in Prospecting and Meeting Client Needs for The American College. He has spoken at regional and national meetings of agents and sales management on practice building and client focused needs selling. Kevin has coached many new agents and sales managers as they grew their practices and sales units.

Mark Lee has spent the last 10 years of his career focused on helping seniors to provide for a wide range of protection for their needs.

Mark spends a large part of his time educating seniors about Medicare and the many benefits that it provides. Medicare can be very complex, particularly for people who are encountering the program for the first time. The range of choices that Medicare provides can be a challenge to understand.

He served for two years on Connecticare’s Agent Medicare Advisory Board, and is a Current Board member of the Hartford Chapter of Financial Service Professionals. National Social Security Advisers from Association.

Olewnik, Richard Lucian JD, CLU, ChFC, FLMI

Rich Olewnik, J.D., CLU, ChFC, FLMI, is a recent member of the AXA Advanced Marketing Team, joining AXA Equitable in 2005 providing broad experience in the design and application of life insurance and annuity products, and frequently consulting on complex technical product issues. His wide ranging expertise includes tax planning with life insurance, life insurance in qualified plans, and in developing innovative marketing programs that support the sale of life insurance in the Advanced Markets for AXA Distributors life division. In addition to a practical and technical perspective developed during the years supporting financial professionals in case design and sales activities, he has the added advantage of having practical field experience as well.

Rich started his insurance career with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company where he worked in the Advanced Underwriting department. He later joined the Berkshire Life Insurance Company as Manager of Advanced Underwriting and was quickly promoted to Advanced Underwriting Officer and later he was elevated to Vice President of Marketing Services, where his responsibilities included contributions to product illustration systems, needs analysis systems, case design assistance, disability income marketing and competitive analysis.

During his career he has also owned managed his own consulting business where he provided expert advice regarding product and technical support to attorneys, accountants, life, property and casualty agents and consumers. His expertise helped individuals and businesses create and implement financial strategies. Gary Ruchin started Ruchin & Associates, LLC in 1982 after working as an agent for a national and international insurance company. Gary graduated from ECSU Magna Cum Laude in 1974, where upon he enrolled in the University of Connecticut’s MBA Program. Gary is a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter-1982), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant-1985), CFP® (Certified Financial Planner-1988), a AIF® Accredited Investment Fiduciary-2013), EA – (Enrolled Agent - Enrolled to Practice Before the Internal Revenue Service-since 1996) and a Certified Insurance Consultant in the State of CT.

For over 15 years Gary was an instructor in the LUTCF program in Hartford. In addition, he served the State Chairman for LUTCF for the State Association of Life Underwriters. Gary was a member of the Advanced Planning Committee which helped design the program for the Advanced Studies in the LUTCF Program.

Gary has been an instructor the classes in the CLU, ChFC and the CFP® programs.

Gary has volunteered as the chairman of the Town of Vernon Pension Committee for the past ten years and is still the current Pension Committee Chairperson. Prior to being appointed Chair, Gary serve as a member of the Vernon Pension Committee for two years. The Vernon Pension Committee provides investment advice to the Town of Vernon in managing the Town Pension Plan for the Vernon Police and the municipal employees for the town.
