Hybrid Program - Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes

FSP Connecticut is committed to a membership with high ethical standards and advanced education uniquely qualifying them to assist families, business owners and professionals in achieving their financial goals.
We typically offer 9 programs through our fiscal year of July 1 - June 30th.   Programs may carry CFP and CT State Insurance credits (see approved CE below).     For the 10.14 program we will again try to meet in-person at the Sheraton but this will depend on mask mandates and Covid numbers.   We remain determined to be back in person and to offer the option of participating on-line.
If you are paying by credit card, please use the Pay Now buttons to the right (no cards over the phone or on-site).   If you are paying by check, use the Pay Now button and provide us with more info about you and then indicate you are paying by check.  Or use the registration options at the bottom of this page.
Please let us know when you register in the Note field if you are attending in-person or online, so we have an accurate count for the hotel.
For in-person attendees, by registering for this event, you acknowledge that you assume the risks of Coronavirus/COVID-19, and waive liability to FSP Connecticut, it's volunteers and association manager.

Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes

The primary goal of this course is to raise awareness with financial advisors and insurance professionals regarding common planning areas that should be addressed or reviewed with every new or existing client.

Estate and financial planning involve the transfer of the right assets, to the right people in the right form at the right time. For many people, simple planning is all they need. It is not uncommon for successful individuals and business owners to have significant mistakes in their wealth transfer and asset protection plans. Many of the planning areas addressed involve life insurance planning and/or solutions. This course will identify the most common planning mistakes and explore corrective steps to address each area.
